Lyon College Calendar

The Delta Symphony Orchestra Family Concert, presented by the Batesville Symphony League, will be at 4pm, Sunday, Oct. 28.  First Community Bank sponsors the concert for the community aided by Lyon College and other noteworthy contributors to the Bastesville Symphony League.  Dr. Neale Bartee, director of Delta Symphony, has chosen a concert to entertain the entire family.  Highlights of the program include "The Olympc Spirit" and "The Harry Potter Symphonic Suite" by John Williams, "Scheherazade" by Rimsky-Korsakov, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," "William Tell Overture," and "Casey at the Bat," an American Folk Tale for Narrator and Orchestra." 

Lyon College students, faculty and staff attend free and those with student IDs from UACCB will receive complimentary tickets.  Ticket prices are:  adults $15, senior adults $10, students $5, family $25.  For tickets, contact Keith Melson at First Community Bank, kmelson@firstcommunity.com or by phone at 870-613-3400.  Area schools may bring school groups accompanied by a teacher.  Call for details.
